Fighting Litter Initiative
Let's Keep Millersville Beautiful!
We developed a focused, anti-litter campaign to bolster neighborhood cleanup efforts and generate greater support—partnering with movers and shakers and groups who can help leverage community, City and State resources and programs.
Don't litter. (Duh.)
And pick up after your pet. (Yep, every time.)
Report illegal trash dumping: Call 317-327-2281 or email Trash@indy.gov. And report it to the Mayor's Action Center here.
Never put loose trash in your garbage can. Put everything in bags sealed tight and close the lid on your can. If you don't, trash spills out and blows around. (Excludes recyclables; they should be loose, but close the lid!)
Stash some bags and gloves by the door and pick up when you're out in your neighborhood, on the Trail or in Millersville Village.
Thank you, Duvall Center!
We have promoted anti-litter efforts to Village businesses, schools and neighbors, started more cleanups, posted campaign decals and more. And through a new partnership with the Duvall Center, work-release crews now provide litter cleanups along Binford Boulevard in Millersville! Thanks to Councillor Christine Scales for helping to make this happen!
