“Kessler Mansion” Redevelopment
Public Hearing: Wednesday, August 3rd at 1 p.m.
(The last-scheduled date was July 6th. A continuance to August 3rd was granted by the Metropolitan Development Commission.)
Millersville “mansion” may be converted to multi-family rental homes
The new owner of the “Kessler Mansion” at 4915 Kessler Blvd., E. Dr., has requested a zoning change to allow for developing the current single-family residence into 10 multi-family rental units.
The plan is to use the existing buildings for six three-bedroom and four four-bedroom rental units, a property manager’s unit, an office and a fitness center; to retain the existing pool; and to add 26 parking spaces in front of the property.
Eric Alexander, of Spann Alexander Grieg LLC, requests rezoning of the 1.66-acre property from its current D-2 single family district to a D-P planned use development to allow for this redevelopment.
